Canning Bridge Mural Art Tours
We are excited to offer a new series of tours in the Canning Bridge Art Precinct, created with support from the City of Melville.
These tours get you off the highway and into the real precinct. You’ll wander riverside paths, stand beneath large-scale murals and sculptures, and hear the behind-the-scenes stories that bring the art and the place to life. It’s relaxed, local and a bit surprising.
Guests tell us that they had no idea there was so much street art around Canning Bridge and love learning the fun facts about the artists and the area.
“My husband and I recently did the Canning Bridge Art & Bar Sundowner tour and it was fantastic. Our tour guides Amber and Sadie were definitely the “A” team not only organising our drinks at each venue but also offering a wealth of knowledge and lots of fun facts on both the artists and the art that adorn so many walls and buildings in this precinct. Such a fun, interesting & inspiring tour. Absolutely loved it!

See Canning Bridge the way locals do
“We created our Canning Bridge walking tour because this riverside precinct is one of Perth’s most overlooked playgrounds.
Most people just drive over the bridge without realising that underneath and around it are hidden murals, peaceful river paths, quirky architecture and stories that tie the past and present together. We wanted to build a tour that slows you down and shows you what’s really here. We wander along the river, discover public art and unexpected viewpoints, chat about local history and meet the characters and ideas that shaped this part of Perth. It’s relaxed, it’s curious, and it’s a whole different way to experience Canning Bridge.
If you want a Perth walking tour that feels local, personal and a bit surprising, check the upcoming tours below and join me.”
