An exciting collaboration between Sharon Wood-Kenney of South West Kinships Cultural Immersions and the passionate team at Oh Hey WA, proudly supported by DevelopmentWA and ECU, these exclusive, limited-run tours offer an extraordinary cultural experience not to be missed!
Discover Noongar heritage and uncover the hidden stories of our city on a fun and informative walking tour through Yagan Square, complete with an introduction to the new ECU City campus.
Stroll through a tucked away wildflower garden, discover the hidden meaning of public artworks, explore some of the area’s best foodie spots and enjoy learning about local culture, architecture and design.
The tour also includes a an introduction to the state-of-the-art ECU campus, as well as local tips into the best events and activities to enjoy year-round.
The tour finishes with a delicious selection of snacks from the Stories – Perth’s Best Hospitality Venue for 2025.
Whether you’re a local or just visiting, step off the beaten track and see Perth through fresh eyes. Uncover stories of culture, creativity, and urban life that have shaped the heart of our city.
The series of 10 tours will run between February and July 2026, offering morning, evening and lunchtime sessions.
The walking tour series is a collaboration betweenthe highly respected South West Kinships Cultural Immersions and the vibrant "Perth-enthusiasts" from Oh Hey WA walking tours, made possible with the support of DevelopmentWA and ECU.

Location: Tours will commence in the Yagan Square Amphitheatre.

What to bring: Please bring a hat, water bottle, sunscreen and an umbrella if needed.
Accessibility: The walking portion of the tour covers approx. 500m at a leisurely pace. The route includes some stairs but can be adapted for people using wheelchairs and prams etc. Please advise any access requirements via the booking form.
