Having the Christmas decorations go up in the city is the first sign it’s so close to the end of the year, am I right? They also make the city a super sweet place to be after sunset with twinkles everywhere.
You should DEFINITELY arrange a trip into town for the 2026 Christmas Lights Trail. A perfect family evening out for everyone. The exact start date is still to be announced but look out for it in late November.

Sunday Music sessions continue! Bask in the sunshine and enjoy a carefully curated line-up of our best musicians every Sunday 2-4pm at Walyalup Fremantle Art Centre’s Front Garden.
City of Melville have their Summer Music Series every Saturday throughout summer - bring a rug to sit on!
And our Chief Perth Enthusiast’s (Adie!) most favourite summer vibes at RTRFM’s Courtyard Club is back baby! Every Friday 5-7pm in the State Theatre Courtyard. The perfect social sundowner and as always, totally free.
Also free and in the city is Music at 140. Every Wednesday lunchtime from 12 to 2pm, catch live music inside the laneway of 140 William Street. Starts in November and runs to 3 December.
The Town of Vic Park Summer Street Party is on 29 November. Get along with the whole fam for food, markets, entertainment and lots of live music.
The PICNIC music festival is on the South Perth foreshore on 28 & 29 November.

Get along to Oxford Street in Leederville for the Arts Fest Leedy. Heaps of locals creatives in all sorts of styles will be on display for your entertainment.
Crafty kids? Yes! The Young Makers Market is on again in Braithwaite Park, Mt Hawthorn. from 11am to 3pm. Kids under 16 make and sell their handy work just in time for Christmas.
How about some award winning performance art? See the finalists in the Legends of Burlesque Awards, shimmy their way to gold on 30 November. You’ll catch our own Phoebe in the running!
