10 Nights in Port: A fantastic Winter Art Festival in Walyalup/Fremantle, full of wild performances, mysterious and marvellous installations, music and so much more.

Perth’s premier jazz venue, The Ellington is hosting the Perth International Women’s Jazz Festival from 21-24 August. See musicians from all over the world display their sensational jazz chops.

Looking for a laugh? WA Comedy Week will be serving the giggles 18-23rd August.

Avon Descent: 🛶 Now in its 52nd year, the Avon Descent is a white-water race from Northam to Perth. The race itself is great to watch and this year there has been plenty of rain to make those rapids rush! Alongside the race are three Family Festivals in Northam, the Swan Valley and at the finish line in Bayswater. Check out the full program for all the kid friendly activities!

Local artist Tessa Dorotich* has been busy giving the Northbridge streetscape a glow up. Check out the north end of William Street for her new additions to the street-seats, reflecting the local culture. In the Northbridge Plaza, corner of James and Lake Street, Steve Buckles has renewed the wall with a giant Chinese dragon.

MARKETS A GO-GO

Starting from Saturday 2 August, the Canning Vale Markets will start their Winter Night Markets from 5-9pm every Saturday. Over 100 stalls and heaps of food and family fun on offer.
